Psalms 100:3
'Know ye that the LORD he is God: [it is] he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. (4) Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful to him, [and] bless his name. (5) For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.'
Isaiah 45:5
'I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God besides me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: . (7) I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.'
I Timothy 3:16
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
Matthew 1:23
'Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.'
John 1:1-14
'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (verse 14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.'
Colossians 1:15-19
"...For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell;"
Finally, I believe that St. Peter delivered one of most powerful sermons on the Day of Pentecost when he made this statement concerning the divine supremacy and authority of JESUS CHRIST. Read Peter's words carefully;
Acts 2:36
"Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord (God) and Christ (Anointed One). (37) Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?"
